Cole Girodat

Tenor Cole Girodat is a graduate, with honors, of the University of Mary where he obtained a Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance. In addition to singing many roles with the opera scenes program Cole was invited to be a featured soloist with the Bismarck-Mandan Youth Symphony Orchestra in 2017.

While attending the University of Mary, he sang in master classes with Sir Rolf Stang, Eric Gibson, Debroah Raymond, and Barbara Brooks. Upon graduation, he continued his vocal studies at Northern Arizona University under the tutelage of Dr. Ricardo Pereira in pursuit of a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance which he completed in the fall of 2020.

While at NAU, he studied the title role in Benjamin Britten’s Peter Grimes, Ruggero in Puccini’s La Rondine and prepared the role of Rinuccio in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi. Cole is a sought after concertist, having recently performed with the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra, Bemidji Symphony Orchestra, and Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra respectively.
