Annie Balo

After a year-long hiatus from 19 years of productions, Annie is back on stage performing her 1st musical for Dakota Stage with a new last name. You have seen her previously at Dakota’s Stage in performances of The Odd Couple, Female Version, The Greater Tuna, Noises Off, and Vanya and Sonja and Masha and Spike. By day, she is a 6th grade science teacher, and by night she fills her schedule with her other passions like sports, book clubs, coaching middle school sports, and theater. She is very honored to work with such an incredible cast as part of the Company and the understudy to Johanna. She would like to thank her husband for listening to all the singing and cockney accent practice over the past couple of months and for being supportive in all her endeavors, even when their 1st anniversary falls on a performance night (October 22nd).
