Our next Theatre University workshop will be Acting Out: Mastering Physical Theatre

Acting Out: Mastering Physical Theatre is a workshop for performers seeking to enhance their physicality and expressiveness on stage! Join our dynamic instructors in exploring the art of full-body performance through:

• Stage Combat – making staged fights look authentic while minimizing the risk of injury
• Physical Storytelling – conveying narratives through movement
• Mask Work – focusing on character creation and expression
• Interpretive Dance for Theatre – blending dance and drama to enhance storytelling

This full-day workshop is suitable for both beginners and seasoned actors, aiming to enrich their understanding of the art of physical theatre.

Ages: 7-18

Location: Bismarck State College NECE Building, Rooms 317 and 319

• Workshop participants will bring a sack lunch with them in the morning, and will have a 30 minute lunch break between classes.
